Eesolves to `useEffect()` on the server and `useLayoutEffect()` on the client.

- Use `typeof` to check if the `window` object is defined and return the `useLayoutEffect()` if it is, or `useEffect()` otherwise.

  typeof window !== 'undefined' ? React.useLayoutEffect : React.useEffect;
```

const MyApp = () => {
  useIsomorphicEffect(() => {
