coalesce

Returns the first non-null/undefined argument.

Use Array.find() to return the first non null/undefined argument.

const coalesce = (...args) => args.find(_ => ![undefined, null].includes(_));
coalesce(null,undefined,"",NaN, "Waldo") // ""
